Stress has been the modern pandemic since long before covid-19 came along, which is why so many people and systems have been wrong-footed by it...but therein lies the opportunity to evolve. individually and collectively.
At the risk of this sounding like an over generalisation, it seems to me that neurotypical people mostly take in their impressions of the world through their heads and their fingertips whereas, as someone with Asperger’s (and I have read about this trait a lot in Aspie accounts), I seem to take in my impressions … Continue reading Impressionable: a breakthrough in working with super-sensitivity
Is your body acutely sensitive to quotas of light, to changes in the season, to events way outside your mind's awareness? Time to celebrate how truly remarkable it is...and to learn to live with it.
Why do we long for diagnosis, for validation, for something so fixed to get a grip on and is it always such a great idea? What happens when we court the softer possibilities, a nonlinear or quantum approach...or mix this up with a plan of action that leaves room for both? Its a mindset we fall into a lot, especially when it comes to our bodies. We assume (either consciously or so very deep down that we don't even notice ourselves doing it) that one thing … Continue reading There’s no such thing as “inevitable”
In a week of one major epiphany after another, this is one of the most healing realisations of my entire health-journey to date, one which has transformed me in all the layers from deep-cellular to the very relationship that I have with the world at-large. If you have ever recognised bully-energy in your life or reacted to 'outside' fears and limitations seemingly delivered by other people or situations, I invite you to travel the path that I was taken on this last few days, leading to what feels like a deep healing of, well, everything.
