Autonomic nerves and their ceaseless dialogue with the universe

A new study supports the theory that the human autonomic nervous system registers space weather events "as they happen" and in their aftermath. Added to this, my own anecdotal experience of acute nerve pain during two weeks of intense space weather helps shed new light on this fascinating phenomenon. Exploring the ceaseless dialogue that we ALL have with the universe...and the opportunities this presents once we get beyond the fear-factor.

Claim your own mastery

Here's what's new and long overdue in terms of fully owning it...to others as well as myself. Whatever weird and wonderful experiences I'm having, I'm not fearing it. I'm not buying into any catastrophes around it. I'm not looking to anyone to tell me what is happening, though its always good to find others amongst this first "physical wave" of ascension that know what you're talking about (remembering that not everyone is on the same page or specialising in this aspect of evolution since we all have different themes we are working on). I'm not apologising to anyone for what I am experiencing; am certainly not embarrassed by it or thinking I am doing anything wrong, failing to "let-go, to "clear my shit" or any of the other "work" that people love to talk about; I'm so done with thinking I have to work on myself. In fact, I'm not assuming anything is going wrong at all or dashing to the doctors, taking pills or seeking out an endless array of teachers to "save me". I'm not interpreting this as any one of a zillion popular forms of victimhood that I could label it under or seeing it as a sign of weakness or regression. I KNOW I'm not regressing because I am so clearly evolving....and I know and celebrate this with every fibre of my being. (Read on...)

The positive side of negative

Think of it as that feeling you get when you're next to a waterfall...When negative ions are freely available, we think more clearly, feel most positive and uplifted, feel creative, inspired and connected. They have been shown to promote alpha brain waves, which flow seamlessly between left and right hemispheres of the brain, and a general increase in brain wave amplitude which then translates as overall higher awareness levels, an optimal state of "firing on all cylinders" using the full range of our skill set. When negative ions abound, metabolism is enhanced by overall better functioning of the body’s systems for processing nutrients and this also feeds into brain function and increased flow between the logical and the intuitive aspects….so, you could say, we get super-inspired at these times; prime territory for spiritual and creative growth and for human evolution. So where do they disappear to; what is it about modern life that chases them away and how do we redress the balance? Here's how...(read more).

Living with electro-sensitivity

Is electro-sensitivity really "Type 3 diabetes" as research now suggests? This would certainly fit in with my experiences of it. Here's a frank discussion of the symptoms of ES plus suggestions of how to live with it and make your home habitable again...plus an invitation to talk about these things far more openly instead of discussing them in the rather embarassed and furtive way that has become the norm. If this is you, you aren't alone - a lot of people (one estimate suggests up to 60 million people) are now finding their health is being seriously affected by a sensitivity to EMFs. Its time...not to make an enemy of technology but... to open up the discussion so access to technology can evolve along side us, not at the expense of homeostasis and good quality of life. For me, its been a challenging yet enlightening journey. Throwing in my two-penneth from personal experience...(read more).

When space weather becomes our weather

While there is (clearly) a link between space weather and what we experience down here on earth, my intimate awareness of this through fibromyalgia has taught me that its not a bad thing or anything to be feared...in fact, it is like a giant cosmic invitation to step back and get out of fear...and the way it impacts my health depends on how I respond to this opportunity. If I actually scrub my diary of all the human trivia and pull back from doing anything much at all, these days can be the most creative of all, literally like taking a huge cosmic chill-pill.

Fibromyalgia – a story of self-recovery

If healing is a return to wholeness, then loss of good health is the ultimate fragmentation of the self; a state, made manifest, of something much deeper occurring on the inside. Ten years ago, my health crashed in the most spectacular way. Across the decade since that time, I find been have steadily regathering all of the scattered parts of myself and putting them back together in such a way that I now find I am much more than the sum of my parts. This is my journey - shared.
