Being an HSP isn't a flaw but an evolutionary advantage, as has been amply demonstrated by science and history. We were always meant to be the natural outliers of the community, by design, so that we could be the first to notice important things that others miss, picking up envornmental cues and alerting others to any danger that we sensed coming our way. But what happens when our alarms start to go off all the time and when or how do we get a respite? How does this relate to the modern age phenomenon of chronic pain, fatigue and systemic meltdown?
Why do we long for diagnosis, for validation, for something so fixed to get a grip on and is it always such a great idea? What happens when we court the softer possibilities, a nonlinear or quantum approach...or mix this up with a plan of action that leaves room for both? A personal review of these topics from a fibromyalgia perspective.
I suddenly realised how, when we are not held, every subtle sensory fibre of our body is activated by the slightest disturbance in the environment yet when pressure is closer, heavier, we're not bothered with all that peripheral stuff. This came in all at once, accompanied by just the antidote, in what felt like one of those impulsive things that never serve me ill. I had to try for myself what a weighted blanket could do for me.....
If you have chronic health condition going on then reading about voltage-gated calcium channels might not sound like what you want to be doing right now...but it might actually be a key in the door of your understanding!
Though many people look to the expertise of others to heal them, we are all fully equipped to work with the quantum level of life, where every moment is, as it were, a choice between particle or wave; substance or frequency and we get to choose outcome. A nano-second’s choice, at any level of life … Continue reading The frequency of healing
Almost as an aside to my usual topics (though it feels like an important one), I feel I want to share an observation this morning and its that I believe there is such a strong correlation between health and the solar cycles as they switch between solar maximum and minimum. There’s no denying that I … Continue reading Dealing with solar minimum blues
